Condense Rich Fat Breast Augmentation is recommended for

  • Breasts drooping after breastfeeding
  • Want to add firmness and volume to the breasts
  • Don’t want to insert silicone or other foreign objects
  • Want to achieve a natural result

Condense Rich Fat Augmentation

Condense rich fat augmentation is a procedure that uses your own fat to create volume in the breasts. Fat is harvested from the abdomen or thighs and injected into the breasts after impurities are removed. Unlike silicone bags or hyaluronic acid, which are artificial substances, the procedure is less likely to cause rejection, and the results are more natural. The retention rate of fat varies from person to person, but the fat that is retained lasts for a long period of time.

Features of Condense Rich Lipo Breast Augmentation

Natural Results

The most important feature of Condense Rich Lipo Breast Augmentation is the natural look and feel of the breasts. Because it uses the patient’s own fat, without the use of silicone bags or any other artificial materials, the shape and feel of the breasts are very close to the original breasts.

In addition, as the fat gradually blends with the body, a more natural result can be expected as time goes by. Another feature of fat injections is that they can be used to increase the size of the breasts without any difficulty, so it is difficult to detect breast augmentation.

Natural bust line even when lying on your back

With condense rich fat augmentation, the breasts flow naturally to the side even when lying on your back, so you are less likely to feel unnatural fullness or firmness. Since the way they move and their softness is similar to that of real breasts, you are unlikely to feel any discomfort in your daily life.

With silicone breast implants, the breasts may float unnaturally or retain their shape when lying on their backs. With fat augmentation, however, the breasts naturally flow sideways, allowing them to maintain the same movement and softness as real breasts, even when lying on their backs.

Once the fat is in place, the effect is semi-permanent.

In fat augmentation, not all of the injected fat is retained, but approximately 50-80% remains in the breast.

After injection, the fat gradually settles in the breast while receiving oxygen and nutrients from the surrounding tissues. In this process, fat cells with short life spans, weak fat cells, and aging cells cannot survive and are absorbed and expelled from the body.

Once the fat is fixed, it is not absorbed and remains as part of the breast semi-permanently, so it does not require periodic maintenance (replacement) as silicone bags do.

However, the fat retention rate varies from person to person and may be affected by one’s physical constitution and the way one spends the treatment. It is important to maintain the ideal result by practicing proper aftercare.

Recommended for Those seeking a natural result Those seeking temporary breast enhancement Those emphasizing size increase

Fat augmentation and other breast augmentation procedures have different advantages and disadvantages.

Hyaluronic acid breast augmentation is an option, but it is not recommended in terms of durability and risks (lumps and infections).

The main difference between fat and silicone bag breast augmentation is the softness of the injected fat and the size of the change, and fat augmentation is recommended for those who want a natural-looking result.

Our commitment to fat augmentation

Custom-made fat augmentation considering left-right differences

Rarely do people have exactly the same breast shape, and most people have slight left-right differences. In our fat augmentation, the amount of fat injected is adjusted to take into account the difference between the left and right sides of the breasts.

A beautiful bust line tailored to each individual

In our fat augmentation, we carefully design the breasts according to each patient’s individual needs and body shape, and try to create a natural and beautiful bust line.

The amount of fat suctioned and the position of the breast injections are carefully adjusted for each individual patient to achieve a result that is close to natural in terms of fullness and softness, while making the most of the patient’s breasts.

Careful counseling and aftercare

In our counseling sessions, we carefully listen to the concerns and wishes of our patients. We will design a breast augmentation that meets the patient’s wishes, such as “this much breast enhancement” or “making the top of the breast higher.

We will also explain in detail how to spend the downtime after the procedure and what to watch out for, so please do not hesitate to tell us if you have any concerns or questions. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any concerns or questions. We will carefully communicate with you so that we can eliminate any anxiety you may have.

Downtime for fat augmentation breasts

In the case of fat augmentation, many patients begin to notice swelling on the second or third day after surgery. The peak of the swelling is about one week after the surgery, and then gradually recedes over the next two weeks.

In addition, about 30-50% of the injected fat will eventually drain out of the body, and the size of the breasts will stabilize around 3 months after the fat has settled.

Internal Bleeding

Fat augmentation may cause internal bleeding in the area where fat is suctioned or in the breasts. Internal bleeding will begin to appear gradually the day after surgery and will settle down over a period of about two weeks.

Swelling

The area where fat is harvested is temporarily hollowed out by the suction. Since water tends to accumulate to fill the cavity, swelling may occur for about 2 to 3 weeks as the tissue recovers.

Compression immobilization can alleviate the symptoms and should be worn securely for the period of time specified by the doctor.

Contractures

The area where liposuction was performed with fat augmentation may experience temporary skin irregularities, pulling, or tightness.

Contractures are a healing process in which the surrounding tissue contracts to fill the cavity created by the removal of fat and to firm the wound, so there is no need to be overly concerned about them.

It begins after downtime symptoms such as swelling, internal bleeding, and swelling have settled down and will settle down in about 2 to 3 months.

Risks and side effects of fat augmentation

Left-right differences may occur.

Since there are individual differences in fat retention, there is a risk that left-right differences may occur even if the same amount of fat is injected into both breasts.

In particular, if there is a natural difference between the left and right breasts, the difference in size may be more noticeable if the design is not injected in consideration of the fixation rate and the finished product.

The retention rate depends on the patient’s constitution and how the patient spends downtime. At our clinic, we will carefully consider the amount and position of injections according to the patient’s condition, and make detailed design adjustments to achieve the ideal result.

Postoperative Lumps

The most common risk/side effect of fat injection breast augmentation is “lumps”. Lumps are fat cells that have not settled and have become necrotic, which can occur when too much fat is injected or when fat is injected in a hard state.

The most common cause is “calcification”. Calcification occurs when the necrotic fat and calcium in the breast combine. Calcification is more likely to occur when a large amount of fat is injected in one area.

Infection

A very rare side effect is infection (fever and redness of the skin).
The risk of infection is increased when injecting excessive amounts of fat.

Insufficient oxygenation of the fat can lead to fat necrosis, and bacteria can grow in the necrotic tissue. This injection method results in lumps in many people, but those who are immunocompromised can become infected. Based on risk management, our clinic always takes care to inject small amounts of fat evenly and carefully to minimize the risk of infection.

Size feels smaller than immediately after the surgery.

Immediately after the surgery, the amount of fat injected remains in the breasts as it is, but around three months after the procedure is nearing completion, there are cases where the volume seems to have decreased.

Some patients are satisfied with the finished result, but feel that the size is gradually decreasing as the days go by. However, with fat augmentation, not 100% of the injected fat remains, but 20-40% is expelled from the body, so depending on the retention rate, the size of the breasts may feel smaller.

At our clinic, we will thoroughly explain the retention rate and the final image during the consultation, but if you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to consult with us at any time.

The ideal size was not achieved.

Fat augmentation is a procedure in which “fat” is injected, so if the patient is naturally thin and the amount of fat that can be harvested is small, there may be cases in which the desired size cannot be achieved. Although there are individual differences, depending on the patient’s body shape and fat volume, it may not be possible to secure a sufficient amount of fat.

In such cases, our clinic may suction fat from multiple areas to secure the amount of fat. Since the fat is suctioned little by little while considering the total balance of the body, it is possible to secure the amount of fat necessary for breast injections, although the amount of fat suctioned from one area is limited.

Flow of Fat Augmentation Procedure

STEP1Counseling

During the counseling, the patient will share his/her concerns and ideal breast size, and confirm the finished image with a simulation. We will also carefully explain the disadvantages, risks, and side effects, so please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

STEP2Preoperative Examination

Once the patient is satisfied with the procedure, a preoperative examination will be performed on the same day as the counseling. Since anesthesia will be used during the procedure, we will check whether the patient is in a safe condition to undergo the procedure, and whether there are any allergies, through blood tests. Once the pre-operative examination is completed, the date of the procedure will be fixed, so please indicate a date that is convenient for you.

STEP3Physical condition check and design

Please come to our clinic on the day of your appointment. Before the treatment, a nurse will check your physical condition, and we would appreciate it if you could report any changes from the day of counseling. After the nurse checks your physical condition, we will finalize the design. We will mark the liposuction area and the breasts to confirm that there is no difference in the desired finished image.

STEP4Anesthesia and suction

If there are no problems with the design, the patient will lie down on the examination table and anesthesia will be administered. The patient will sleep soundly before the procedure is performed, so there will be no pain during the procedure.

After confirming that the anesthesia has taken effect, the amount of fat necessary for breast augmentation is suctioned from the abdomen and inner thighs. A small incision of a few millimeters will be made to secure the insertion opening of the cannula used for liposuction, but rest assured that we will select a position that is as inconspicuous as possible.

STEP5Fat Processing and Injection

The extracted fat is placed in a centrifuge to remove dead cells, aging cells, anesthetic solution, and other impurities. Once the extraction of good quality fat cells is complete, they are injected into the breasts.

STEP6Finish check and aftercare

After the injection is completed, we will ask the patient to check the current condition. At the same time, we will ask if there is any pain or discomfort, so please do not hesitate to ask us if there is anything you feel.

In addition, the area where liposuction was performed will be compressed by the nurse, so you may feel some difficulty moving immediately after the procedure. Please feel free to use public transportation when you leave the clinic.

Frequently Asked Questions

QHow many cups will I get?

It depends on the amount of fat that can be aspirated and the patient’s body type, so it is difficult to say, but we can expect a volume increase of around 0.5 to 1.5 cups.

If a large amount of fat is injected at one time, there is a high risk of cell necrosis and lumps due to lack of nutritional supply to the injected fat cells.

In such cases, please consult with the doctor prior to the procedure, as the design for multiple fat augmentation and the amount of aspiration need to be adjusted.

QWill breastfeeding be affected after I give birth?

Since fat is injected into the subcutaneous fat in fat augmentation, it is extremely unlikely to affect the mammary glands, which are necessary for breastfeeding.

In fat augmentation, fat is injected into the subcutaneous fat under the mammary glands, so there are very few cases where the mammary glands are directly affected. Even those who are expecting a baby or plan to breastfeed in the future can undergo the procedure.
(*As a precaution, as with any cosmetic surgery, patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding cannot undergo the procedure.)

QIs fat suctioning limited to the abdomen and thighs?

If you want to make a big change, fat is generally suctioned from the abdomen and inner thighs where there is a large amount of fat. However, it is possible to suction from any part of the body that has fat, so please consult with the doctor if you have a preference for the area to be suctioned.
