This patient is a 28-year-old woman shown 6 months after circumferential thigh liposuction.2026.06.25
A total of 800cc of purified fat was removed.
At 6 months postoperatively, she has developed a well-defined inner thigh gap and a slimmer, more refined leg contour.
You may notice that the inner side of the kneecap appears slightly prominent. This is part of her natural bone structure, not residual fat, and therefore cannot be corrected with liposuction.
It is important to understand the difference between fat distribution and skeletal anatomy when evaluating the results of thigh liposuction.
Recovery from thigh liposuction can be challenging. Swelling, bruising, soreness, and fibrosis (temporary firmness) are common during the recovery period, and the final contour gradually improves over several months.
Risks and complications: Contour irregularities, pigmentation changes, scarring, swelling, bruising, asymmetry, and infection.
