Circumferential Upper Arm + Accessory Breast Liposuction | 34-Year-Old Woman, 2 Months After2026.10.10
A 34-year-old woman. She was concerned about the thickness of her upper arms and the fullness at the front of her armpits (accessory breast area), so we performed liposuction of the circumferential upper arms (back of the arms, shoulders and front) together with the accessory breast area at the same time. The photos show her from the front before surgery and 2 months after surgery.
When fat remains on the shoulders, the front of the arms or the front of the armpits, the base of the arm can still look thick from the front even if only the back of the arm is slimmed. In this case, we treated the whole circumference of the upper arms in a balanced way and also removed fat from the accessory breast area, aiming for a continuous line from the shoulders through the arms to the armpits.
The procedure was performed under intravenous sedation combined with nitrous oxide, with 1,000ml of tumescent solution infiltrated into the upper arms. A total of 450ml of fat was removed, and the operation took about 35 minutes. The incisions are six small ones, at both elbows and at the front and back of both armpits. After surgery, she wore a compression garment (bolero) for the upper arms.
In the photo 2 months after surgery, the outer line of the upper arms looks more streamlined, the fullness at the front of the armpits is less noticeable, and the contour from the shoulders to the arms appears slimmer.
At 2 months the recovery is still in progress, and swelling and firmness of the treated areas (contracture) are still settling. The final result, recovery time and the degree of swelling, bruising and oedema vary from person to person.
