Some people believe that fat harvested from the upper arms is not suitable for breast augmentation. However, fat retention is not determined by the donor area alone.

This patient had a BMI below 18 and had previously undergone silicone implant breast augmentation at another clinic. Because of her slim body type, the implant edges were relatively visible.

We performed circumferential arm liposuction and accessory breast liposuction, then injected the harvested fat mainly into the décolletage and inner breast area.

Procedures

Fat grafting volume

Approximately 2mm of superficial fat was preserved in the arms to maintain both a slim and smooth contour.

At 3 months, the arms and accessory breast area appear significantly slimmer, and the transferred fat has shown good retention. The décolletage has gained natural fullness, and the implant edges are less noticeable.

Combining arm liposuction with fat transfer breast augmentation helps create a more balanced upper-body silhouette by reducing volume from the arms while adding natural volume to the breasts.

At AVAN TOKYO, we design the entire line from the arms, accessory breast area, and underarms to the décolletage and breasts as one continuous contour.
