Hybrid Breast Augmentation (Motiva Mini 275cc) + Liposuction of Full-Circumference Upper Arms and Accessory Breast2026.09.26
A 26-year-old woman. She wanted more volume in her bust and also wished to refine the fullness from her upper arms to the underarm area, so we performed a hybrid breast augmentation combining a silicone implant with fat grafting, together with liposuction of the full-circumference upper arms and accessory breast area as the fat donor sites. The photos show her from the side, 6 months after surgery.
A Motiva Mini 275cc implant was inserted in the subglandular plane through an axillary incision along the underarm crease. Fat harvested from the full-circumference upper arms (back of the arm, shoulder and front) and the accessory breast area was purified by centrifugation, and 100ml subcutaneously plus 50ml submuscularly on the right, and 75ml subcutaneously plus 20ml submuscularly on the left, were grafted.
The procedure was performed under general anaesthesia (propofol) combined with nitrous oxide and sevoflurane, with tumescent solution infiltrated into the upper arms and chest. The operation took about 1 hour 35 minutes, and 350ml of fat was harvested. After surgery, she wore a compression bolero.
In the side-view photo 6 months after surgery, the previously flat area from the décolleté to the lower chest shows rounded forward projection with a smooth slope. On the upper arms, the fullness at the back has decreased and the line from the shoulder to the elbow looks more refined.
Hybrid breast augmentation creates base volume with an implant and adds subcutaneous thickness with fat, aiming for a result in which the implant outline is less visible. However, fat survival, the course around the implant, the degree of swelling and bruising, and recovery time vary from person to person. Please start with an examination and consultation.
