This is the case of a 23-year-old woman. She wished to slim down her upper arms, reduce her axillary breast tissue (the bulge in front of the armpit), and add volume to her bust at the same time, so we performed full-circumference upper-arm and axillary fat liposuction together with hybrid breast augmentation (silicone implant + fat injection).

In this procedure, fat was harvested by liposuction from the entire circumference of the upper arms (the bat-wing area, shoulders, and front) and from the axillary region. For the hybrid breast augmentation, a Motiva Mini 235cc silicone implant was placed in the subglandular plane, and the harvested fat was then injected — 100cc into the right breast and 110cc into the left. The injection volumes were adjusted to the natural left-right difference of her bust.

Upper-arm liposuction and breast augmentation are an excellent combination. While the arms become slimmer, the harvested fat can be used to enhance the bust, making it easier to balance the entire upper body. The implant creates the foundational volume, and fat layered over the décolleté and implant borders creates a smooth, natural curve even when viewed from the side.

The photos show her progress 3 months after surgery. Her arms look slimmer, and her bust has a natural, rounded silhouette. Fat engraftment and tissue settling will continue to change gradually, and we are following up on her recovery.
