Rarely, complications such as infection, hematoma, numbness, or reduced sensation may occur. On the thighs, calves, and other lower-body areas, prolonged swelling, asymmetry, and reduced sensation may occur; the ankles and calves are particularly prone to swelling and pigmentation.
