Full Thigh Liposuction | Woman in Her 20s, 6 Months After Surgery (800cc of Pure Fat)2026.08.02
We would like to introduce a case of full (circumferential) thigh liposuction in a woman in her 20s, 6 months after surgery. She visited our clinic because dieting alone could not slim down her thighs, and we performed liposuction on the inner, outer, and front thigh — the full circumference.
A total of 800cc of pure fat was removed. Rather than simply making the legs thinner, we thinned the subcutaneous fat layer to the point where the lines of the adductor and vastus lateralis muscles are faintly visible, designing straight, sharp leg lines that follow the natural flow of the muscles.
Please note that this patient was originally slim with good skin condition, which is why this degree of definition was achievable. Depending on bone structure, muscle mass, and skin condition, the same result may not be possible for everyone — the achievable line differs from person to person.
As a guide, downtime for thigh liposuction includes pain for a few days, bruising and swelling for about 1–2 weeks, and edema and skin contracture (tightness and firmness of the skin) for several weeks to several months. Because the thighs are in the lower body, swelling tends to last longer than in other areas. In this case, symptoms subsided over time, and at 6 months the contracture has almost fully resolved and the texture of the skin is natural.
Possible risks and side effects include swelling, bruising, pain, edema, skin irregularities and tightness, asymmetry, pigmentation, small incision scars, reduced skin sensation, and, rarely, infection, hematoma, burns, allergic reactions, anaphylaxis, and anemia. Most of these improve over time, but the severity of symptoms and the recovery period vary from person to person. If you notice any concerning symptoms, please consult your doctor rather than judging on your own.
The causes of thick thighs — fat, muscle, bone structure, or skin laxity — differ from person to person, and results and recovery vary individually. If you are considering this procedure, please confirm a treatment plan suited to your condition through a consultation with a doctor.
