This case features a 20-year-old woman, 166 cm tall and weighing 55 kg, with a BMI of 19.9.

She underwent 360° arm liposuction combined with axillary fat removal. A total of approximately 720 cc of pure fat was removed.

The goal was not simply to make the arms smaller. We carefully reduced the fullness around the upper arms, particularly near the shoulder-arm junction, to create a smoother transition from the shoulders to the arms and a more slender, refined appearance from the back.

At AVAN TOKYO, arm liposuction is designed by considering the shoulders, arms, axillary area, back, and overall upper-body proportions as one continuous silhouette.

At 2 months after surgery, postoperative firmness and tissue contraction may still be present, and the contour can continue to refine over the following months.

Risks and potential complications include contour irregularities, scarring, hyperpigmentation, swelling, bruising, asymmetry, sensory changes, infection, hematoma, and seroma.

Individual results and recovery vary.
