360° Upper-Arm and Axillary Fat Liposuction | Woman in Her 20s, 6 Months Post-Op2026.08.20
This case features a woman in her 20s six months after 360-degree upper-arm and axillary fat liposuction. Treatment was planned to reduce fullness around the upper arms and underarm area while creating a smoother transition from the shoulders to the arms and axillae.
Upper-arm fullness may remain visible from the front when fat is distributed not only along the posterior “bat-wing” area but also along the anterior arm, arm root, and underarm region. The treatment plan therefore considered the full circumference of the arms, skin condition, and the appropriate depth of liposuction rather than focusing solely on aspirated volume.
Liposuction was performed around the full circumference of both upper arms and the axillary fat area. The aspirated fat volume was 800 ml. An appropriate superficial fat layer was preserved, and the borders between the anterior and posterior arms and the underarm area were blended to support a natural-looking contour.
At six months, postoperative swelling and firmness have settled, and the contour from the upper arms to the axillae appears slimmer. Posture, camera distance, lighting, and clothing differ between the photographs and may affect how the result appears.
Results and recovery vary between individuals. Upper-arm and axillary fullness differs according to fat volume, skin elasticity, muscle, and body frame. Please consult a physician to determine the treatment area and method appropriate for you.
