Excellent Results Require Both Surgery and Proper Postoperative Care
This patient underwent circumferential arm liposuction, axillary fat liposuction, and accessory breast liposuction.
Approximately 550cc of purified fat was removed, primarily targeting fullness around the upper arm attachment to create a slimmer and more refined contour.
The current photographs were taken 6 months after surgery.
At this stage, the transition from the shoulder to the upper arm has become smoother, resulting in a more elegant and natural arm contour.

Arm Liposuction Is More Than Just Surgery
Successful arm liposuction does not end in the operating room.
At AVAN TOKYO, we believe that optimal results depend on three essential elements:
● Precise surgical planning
● Meticulous liposuction technique
● Appropriate postoperative care
These factors work together to achieve long-term body contouring results.

Fibrosis Is a Normal Part of Healing
Following liposuction, patients commonly experience fibrosis, a temporary firmness caused by normal scar tissue formation during healing.
This response typically peaks between 1 and 3 months after surgery before gradually improving.
Proper recovery management during this period is an important part of the healing process.

Nutrition Is Part of Recovery
We encourage our patients to maintain healthy lifestyle habits during recovery.
This includes:
● Eating a high-protein diet
● Consuming adequate vitamins and minerals
● Choosing anti-inflammatory foods
● Avoiding smoking and excessive alcohol consumption
Maintaining a stable body weight after surgery also helps preserve the refined body contour achieved through liposuction.

Six-Month Results
This patient carefully followed our postoperative recommendations, including maintaining a balanced diet throughout recovery.
At 6 months, the fullness near the upper arm attachment has significantly improved, creating a slimmer and more harmonious silhouette from the shoulder to the arm.
Although individual healing varies, postoperative care plays an important role in achieving long-term results.

The AVAN TOKYO Philosophy
At AVAN TOKYO, our goal is not simply to remove as much fat as possible.
Instead, we focus on creating:
● Natural arm contours
● Smooth transitions from the shoulder to the arm
● Long-lasting aesthetic results
● A comprehensive treatment plan that includes postoperative guidance
Beautiful results are achieved through both excellent surgical technique and dedicated recovery.
