Circumferential Arm + Armpit Liposuction with Body Thread Lift | 3 Months After (30-Year-Old Female)2026.07.06
We would like to introduce a case of circumferential upper arm liposuction (batwing area, shoulders, and front of the upper arms) combined with axillary (armpit) liposuction and a body thread lift, performed on a 30-year-old female patient. The photos show her progress 3 months after surgery.
A total of 1,150 cc of pure fat — excluding anesthetic fluid — was removed. This is a large volume for the upper arm area, and the contour of the entire arm, from shoulder to wrist, has changed dramatically.
When more than 800 cc of fat is removed from the arms, skin laxity becomes almost inevitable. In this case, we therefore inserted body thread lifts during the “contraction phase” (the period when the skin tightens as it recovers) after liposuction, promoting adhesion between the skin and the underlying tissue to enhance the tightening effect.
At 3 months after surgery, the back of the upper arm (the so-called “batwing” area), which is prone to sagging, is visibly firmer, resulting in a natural, smooth arm line. Because the armpit area was treated at the same time, the arms look slim and well-balanced from their very base.
Results and recovery vary from person to person. The appropriate amount of fat removal and whether a thread lift should be combined depend on your fat distribution and skin condition, so please consult our doctor during an examination and counseling session.
