Full Upper-Arm Liposuction (Arm, Shoulder & Front) — 27-Year-Old Woman, 6 Months After Surgery2026.07.19
This is a case of full upper-arm liposuction (the “bat-wing” area, shoulder, and front of the upper arm) in a 27-year-old woman. The photos show the result 6 months after a single procedure, in which a total of 680cc of pure fat was removed. Swelling, puffiness, and post-operative firmness have settled, and in the back view you can see a clean, sharply defined line where the shoulder transitions into the upper arm.
The outward fullness from the upper arm to the shoulder has a major impact on the impression of the upper body. In this case, we suctioned the fat that created this fullness — the bat-wing area, shoulder, and front of the upper arm — in a balanced way around the full circumference, designing a single slim line from the shoulder down to the elbow.
The upper arm and shoulder are areas where the skin tends to tighten well even after thorough fat removal, with little noticeable sagging. This allows us to remove the outward fullness decisively and reshape the contour itself. Partial liposuction, by contrast, can leave visible steps at the border of the treated area or fail to deliver the slimness patients expect. By finishing evenly from the base of the arm to the elbow, the silhouette remains smooth and natural even with the arms relaxed at the sides.
After surgery, a compression garment is worn for a set period, and the result gradually completes over roughly 3 to 6 months, passing through stages of swelling, bruising, puffiness, and temporary firmness. At 6 months, as in this case, skin irregularities and firmness have settled, and the patient can comfortably enjoy sleeveless and open-back styles.
