Hybrid Breast Augmentation in a 29-Year-Old Woman | Motiva Mini 200cc + Upper Arm & Thigh Liposuction, 3 Months Post-Op2026.08.22
This is a case of hybrid breast augmentation in a 29-year-old woman, shown three months after surgery. A silicone implant (Motiva Mini, 200cc) was placed in the subglandular plane through an axillary incision, and fat harvested from the upper arms, shoulders, and the inner and anterior thighs was grafted into the breasts.
Hybrid breast augmentation combines an implant, which creates the underlying volume, with fat grafted over it. The aim is to smooth the transition from the décolletage to the outer breast and to add fullness to the upper pole, which can be harder to achieve with an implant alone.
In this case, 300ml of fat was harvested from the thighs and 100ml from the upper arms. Of the 200ml prepared after centrifugation, 100ml was injected on the right side (80ml subcutaneous, 20ml subglandular) and 80ml on the left (80ml subcutaneous). The donor areas — upper arms, shoulders, inner and anterior thighs — were contoured by the liposuction at the same time.
At three months, swelling and firmness gradually settle and the balance between the breasts and the upper body becomes more natural. Fat graft take, the way the implant settles, and the liposuction result continue to change after this point. Posture, distance, lighting, and clothing at the time of photography also affect how the result appears.
Implant type and size, the volume of grafted fat, and the extent of liposuction are selected according to the shape of the chest wall, skin elasticity, existing breast tissue, and the amount of fat available. Results and recovery vary from person to person. If you notice symptoms that concern you, please consult your surgeon rather than judging on your own.
