Hybrid Breast Augmentation (Motiva Mini 220cc) + Liposuction of Upper Arms, Shoulders, Underarm and Accessory Breast | 32-Year-Old Woman, 6 Months After Surgery2026.10.04
A 32-year-old woman. She wanted more volume in her bust and also wished to refine the fullness from her upper arms to the underarm area, so we performed a hybrid breast augmentation combining a silicone implant with fat grafting, together with liposuction of the upper arms and shoulders, underarm fat and accessory breast tissue area as the fat donor sites. The photos show her from the front, 6 months after surgery.
A Motiva Mini 220cc implant was inserted in the subglandular plane through an axillary incision along the underarm crease. From the harvested fat, 300ml of purified fat was centrifuged (800 rpm for 1 minute) to produce 200ml of fat for grafting; 110ml subcutaneously plus 20ml intramuscularly were grafted on the right, and 70ml subcutaneously on the left.
The procedure was performed under general anaesthesia (propofol) combined with nitrous oxide and sevoflurane, with 1,400ml of tumescent solution infiltrated into the upper arms and chest. The operation took about 2 hours 15 minutes, and 400ml of fat was harvested. The incisions are small, placed at both elbows and the front and back of both armpits. After surgery, she wore a compression bolero for the upper arms.
In the photo 6 months after surgery, the previously flat area from the décolleté to the chest shows forward projection and roundness, with added volume at the cleavage. The fullness from the upper arms to the underarms has decreased, giving the upper body a more refined line.
Hybrid breast augmentation creates base volume with an implant and adds subcutaneous thickness with fat, aiming for a result in which the implant outline is less visible. However, fat survival, the course around the implant, the degree of swelling and bruising, and recovery time vary from person to person. Please start with an examination and consultation.
