Liposuction of the Full Upper Arms, Forearms, Accessory Breast Tissue, Upper Back and Lower Neck with Botox | 26-Year-Old Woman, 6 Months After Surgery2026.09.20
A 26-year-old woman who wished to slim her entire upper body, from the upper arms and forearms to the armpit area, shoulders and back. On the same day, we performed liposuction of the full upper arms, forearms, accessory breast tissue (armpit fat), the area above and below the shoulder blades, and the lower neck, together with Botox injections to the shoulders and arms. The photos show her condition 6 months after surgery, seen from behind.
Liposuction was carefully performed on the full upper arms (back, shoulder and front), the forearms, the accessory breast tissue at the front of the armpits, the area above and below the shoulder blades, and the lower neck from the base of the neck to the shoulders, after infiltrating tumescent anesthetic solution. The total aspirated fat volume was 900 ml. In addition, 200 units of Botox were injected into the shoulders and 200 units into the arms to soften the bulk caused by muscle volume, and 10 units were injected at the incision sites to help the scars become less noticeable.
At 6 months after surgery, the upper arms are narrower from the shoulder to the elbow, and there is a gap between the arms and the body when the arms hang down. The bulge from the base of the neck to the shoulders has decreased, giving a smoother shoulder line, and the thickness from the armpits to the shoulder blades and back has also decreased, so the whole rear view looks tighter. Swelling and bruising have settled, and the skin has adapted naturally.
The procedure was performed under intravenous sedation (propofol) combined with nitrous oxide and sevoflurane, using tumescent anesthesia. Operating time was about 2 hours. Incisions were small and located at both elbows, the outer side of both elbows, the front and back of both armpits, and the center of the upper back. A bolero-type compression garment is worn after surgery.
