Liposuction of the Whole Abdomen, Waist, Full-Circumference Thighs, Knees and Calves (Whole-Body Session)2026.09.23
A woman in her late twenties (28 years old). She wanted to reshape the line running from the abdomen through the waist, buttocks, thighs, above the knees and calves, and also asked to treat the upper body and facial contour at the same time, so whole-body liposuction was performed in a single operation. The photographs show the front view six months after surgery.
Under general anaesthesia, liposuction was performed on the whole abdomen (upper, lower and flank), the waist, below the bust, the buttocks, the full circumference of the thighs (inner, outer and front) plus the back of the thighs, the knees and the calves. The upper arms (full circumference: the underside, shoulder and front), forearms, accessory breast tissue, under-arm area and the areas above and below the shoulder blades were also suctioned. For the facial contour, liposuction of the cheeks and under the chin, malar fat removal and treatment under the neck were carried out, combined with eight lifting threads and six bi-needle treatments (two on the neck, four on the upper arms). Part of the harvested fat was grafted into the nasolabial folds and cheeks, 3 cc on each side, and 10 units of botulinum toxin were used on the scars of the upper arms. A total of 4,700 ml was aspirated.
General anaesthesia (propofol) was combined with nitrous oxide and sevoflurane, tumescent anaesthetic solution was infiltrated into each area, and the ELSA device was used on the calves and back of the thighs, the lower back, and the abdomen and front of the thighs. The operation took about 5 hours 30 minutes. After surgery a facial supporter, a bolero, a body suit, a girdle and an abdominal belt were worn on the respective areas.
Six months after surgery the waistline and the line from the upper abdomen down to the lower abdomen have emerged, the inner fullness of the thighs has decreased, and a gap is visible between the thighs when standing with the knees extended. The bulge above the knees and the fullness of the calves have also settled, giving the legs a longer, more vertical silhouette.
Liposuction reduces the fat cells themselves, so the result tends to be maintained as long as body weight does not change greatly. However, how the effect appears, how swelling and bruising develop and how long recovery takes vary from person to person, and the extent that can be treated in one session also depends on the condition of the skin and fat and on the burden on the body.
