Full Abdominal Liposuction (Upper, Lower & Flanks) — Revision of Surgery at Another Clinic, Woman in Her 20s, 3 Months After Surgery2026.07.20
This is a case of full abdominal liposuction (upper abdomen, lower abdomen, and flanks) in a woman in her 20s. She had previously undergone abdominal liposuction at another clinic but was not satisfied with the amount of fat left behind and the overall result, so we performed revision surgery at our clinic. The photos show the course 3 months after a single procedure: the first photo shows the surgical design (markings) at the time of surgery, and the second shows the state 3 months after surgery.
At 3 months, the abdomen is already thin and flat, but induration — a temporary firmness of the treated area that is part of the normal healing process — still remains. Over the coming months the skin will continue to settle and soften toward the final result.
Revision liposuction is more technically demanding than a first-time procedure, because scar tissue and adhesions from the previous surgery remain under the skin. In this case, we carefully suctioned the fat that had been left behind, working across the entire abdomen — upper, lower, and flanks — in a balanced way to design a thin, smoothly continuous abdominal contour.
How the patient spends the induration period after abdominal liposuction also has a real impact on the final result. The quality of aftercare — compression garments, when to start massage, and daily habits — influences how smoothly the skin settles. We provide specific, stage-by-stage aftercare guidance along with post-operative checkups.
