Intranasal Administration of Stem Cell Culture Supernatant, Without Injection

Intranasal administration of stem cell culture supernatant at AVAN TOKYO is a method in which the culture supernatant is sprayed into the nasal cavity, like a nasal spray. Because no needle is used, it can also be considered by people who dislike injections.

Our main treatment is scalp injection for thinning hair; intranasal administration is offered as one of our other methods. What can be expected and whether it is suitable are explained at the examination after we hear your goals.

What Is Intranasal Administration of Stem Cell Culture Supernatant?

What Is Intranasal Administration of Stem Cell Culture Supernatant?

The supernatant obtained while culturing adipose-derived stem cells is sprayed into the nasal cavity. It contains cytokines, exosomes and other components. The cells themselves are not administered.

This method relies on absorption through the nasal mucosa, a different route from infusion (intravenous administration). Any changes you notice vary from person to person, and results are not guaranteed. This is elective (self-pay) treatment, so health insurance does not apply.
