Blood Collection Policy|Safety & Hygiene Standards

Regarding AVAN TOKYO’s Blood Collection Policy

At AVAN TOKYO, we perform blood collection testing as necessary to provide safe medical care to patients. Blood collection testing is important testing for accurately understanding patient health status and determining treatment appropriateness.

Purpose of Blood Collection Testing

Blood collection testing performed at our clinic is conducted for the following purposes:

Confirmation of Health Status Before Treatment

To safely receive treatment with stem cell culture supernatant, we confirm liver function, kidney function, blood condition, and other parameters. This allows treatment risks to be minimized.

Infectious Disease Screening

To ensure the safety of patients themselves and prevent infection to other patients, we perform infectious disease testing as necessary.

Evaluation of Treatment Effectiveness

By comparing blood data before and after treatment, we objectively evaluate treatment effectiveness.

Health Status Monitoring

Through regular blood collection, we continuously monitor patient health status and can detect abnormalities early.

Cases Where Blood Collection Is Required

In the following cases, we may request blood collection testing:

Before Initial Treatment

As a general rule, we perform blood collection testing for those receiving treatment at our clinic for the first time. However, depending on consultation results, if the physician determines it is unnecessary, it may be omitted.

When Receiving Specific Treatments

When receiving specific treatments such as infusion therapy or joint injections, blood collection testing becomes necessary.

When a Certain Period Has Elapsed Since Previous Blood Collection

If 6 months or more have elapsed since the previous blood collection test, we perform blood collection testing again.

When Changes Have Occurred in Health Status

If significant changes in health status have occurred since the previous treatment, we may perform blood collection testing.

When the Physician Determines It Necessary

If the physician determines blood collection testing is necessary based on patient symptoms, medical history, or other factors, we request its implementation.
